She did a nice job of blending the big idea of conservation and connecting it to what we were already working with. We kicked it all off by going outside and cleaning the playground and front of our school. The kids absolutely loved it! They were very engaged in the idea of conservation, to the point where some kids would spend their entire recess time asking teachers for gloves and trash bags so they could go around and clean up our environment. It was pretty amazing to see our little ocean activists at work."
